PROJECT Overview

When it was built in 2009, this was the largest solar-PV project in the Midwest – approximately 650 kW across over 90 rooftops in downtown St Louis. McCormack Baron Salazar (MBS) engaged us to serve as their Owner’s Agent for this project. We were responsible for inventory certification, progress report certification, bank reporting, payment application review, quality assurance, work inspections, and utility coordination.

Our role on the project team

McCormack Baron Salazar (MBS) is a US-based major developer of market-rate housing and other commercial projects. Over the course of 8 years, we supported MBS for multiple projects in varying capacity, but in this case, we were the Owner’s Agent responsible for ensuring the project was successfully completed and reported to the owner and their financing partners. This project spanned 4 seasons, including a very harsh winter, making rooftop safety and quality assurance more challenging than normal.
